   main language i program in these days. not too bad, as far as crosses of c++ and java go.
2. data:
   data data data. i'm all about the data.
3. genealogy:
   i'm more into horse pedigrees these days than my own genealogy, but it's one of those interests that has a periodicity of about 9 years for me.
4. homebrewing:
   i haven't brewed since i left colorado. but if i told people that my beer was going to be at a party, they'd show up and drink it all, even with other options available, so i take that as evidence that it was actually good.
5. juanes:
   he's so dreamy! oh, and he makes good music, too.
6. life:
   i try to examine mine frequently enough to make it worth living.
7. movies:
   my dvd collection seems to disturb people due to its heavy stress on deep dark dramas. i have a low tolerance for schlock.
8. new zealand:
   loved it.
9. php:
   another language i've been dabbling in. haven't really decided how i feel about it.
10. sandman:
    i've been rationing myself on sandman since i discovered it so there's still more to discover.
