It's absolutely amazing how your life can go to shit in the space of half an hour.
First off, it's currently -26 C outside. Second....there's a reason I haven't gotten fired from my job yet. But I have absolutely no clue as to what it is.
Long story short, there is a very good chance that I'm going to be spending the first three hours of tomorrow's shift fixing forty floor trusses because I put in the wrong webboard in every single one of them. And even if fortune smiles upon me and the mistake isn't as big as I think it is, I still get to look forward to being lectured AGAIN about reading my engineerings properly and not assuming things.
Then I got stuck in the company parking lot.
A block away from home, my engine starts reving all the way up into the five thousand range. Only by holding down the brake am I able to actually get into my own parking spot. I'm hoping it's nothing serious and has to do with the cold weather, because if I have to pay for repairs *again*, there goes the rest of my Disney money. I'll still be able to go, but I'll be spending my six days and five nights watching TV in my hotel room.
Heater cord STILL doesn't fit into my electrical cord. So right now I have no idea if the block heater's actually plugged in or not.
And to top it all off, I have a message on my phone from my hairdresser (whom I like very much) telling me she's moving to a different salon. That's just perfect.
