prom planning *giggles*
Sooo, I placed my order for my prom coordinate last night:
Jacket
GORGEOUS BLOUSE
Long bustle skirt
I think it'll come together nicely, actually! :D I was thinking about tying it together with my black underbust corset, similar to this.
I'm still debating if I want to wear that jacket with the outfit tbh, I bought it for "just in case" measures. Along with a long petticoat for the skirt, which I am MAD EXCITED FOR BECAUSE I'VE HAD MY EYES ON THAT SKIRT FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. I will likely wear SOME type of shrug, as I am too embarrassed to show off my bare arms. I'll see how the fabric works, it may complement my corset, may not. If not, I'll find a different shrug. What I WANTED to wear was this blouse: I love the sleeves with my corset and skirt, but I wanted to make sure to order from a place that would get my items here in time XD;; unfortunately, I didn't want to wait 2 weeks on F+F to make one for me when prom is apparently in like.. 2.5 weeks, heh.
THIS IS STILL SO INTERESTING TO ME! XD I KINDA CAN'T BELIEVE I'M GOING TO PROM AGAIN! I figured I'd be done with that ish as soon as... ya know... I graduated, which happened last year? Apparently not. Hahaha. Now just to find the perfect accessories and I'll be set :D I want some sort of exquisite ornate hairpiece; that's the only accessory I'm focused on tbh. (I have so many other accessories it's not even funny) Maybe I could try making a hair crown...? You know, like those hairbows-made-of-hair, except some sort of awesome queen crown? OOH. THAT ACTUALLY SOUNDS VERY EXCITING. I AM VERY SERIOUSLY CONTEMPLATING THIS NOW.
