Em dic l'Ana . . . Tinc dinou anys . . . Soc dels estats units . . . Estic molt cansat!

Haha, my Catalan is rather limited. However, I lived with a catalan family for five months and I'm currently taking a electricity and magnetism physics class in catalan . . . Entenc molt, per parlo poc - or I understand a lot but I speak very little. The first month I was here I was still getting my spanish down - we had intensive spanish classes and a an intensive Catalan class. It was cool to learn a little, but I really had language difficulties taking the two (sometimes I couldn't speak english, spanish OR catalan because my mind couldn't stick to any particular flow haha!). I ended up not continuing my catalan the first semester and this semester I'm doing quite a lot with my classes so not this semester either. However, I have the summer and if I can find a good class I'm going to consider enrolling :) It's . . . different haha. It's kinda a throaty-ugly language. Most people on my program HATE catalan right now. I'm still doing okay with it though :)
