...and I feel like crap, but that's for another post.

The 'ripple effects' of the Indian Ocean tsunamis are being felt throughout the world in the form of unusual weather conditions or changes in the tidal patters of bodies of water as far away from the epicentre as Mexico. Even here we have been feeling the effects as high winds cause power cuts and right here in Derry the Foyle ("New") Bridge is closed after a lorry driver dies in bridge fall.
Just as the politics of a single nation can impact upon the entire world so can forces of nature acting in one particular region have global, often disastrous, effects. Everything is connected whether we like it or not... whether we believe it or not.
