S06 E16 / "...and then there were none" .. My review with screencaps ..

Watch "...and then there were none"
Maybe all that SUPERNATURAL stands for summed up in 42 amazing minutes....
The Mother of all things Evil returns with a name... Eve.
A new kind of villain surfaces our world, or let's say our hunters' world, Eve, the One they call Mother. The One that is the start of all things evil, the One that will create more evil walking on Earth than us Humans.
Will she be stopped by our team of Hunters? Or will she prevail?
It remains to be seen.
With her so does Rufus, Granpa Cambel & Gwen & of course we got Bobby, Sammy and Dean all in one episode.
High high levels of Testosterine right?
Which means all the ingredients for a delightful morning viewing are in the mix.
What we got here tonight is a possesing Monster that has the form of a worm sliding in your body through your ear, takes over it and needless to say Evil takes you over.
Before you say it reminds you of "Alien", yes it reminded me of that too and I welcomed it, such a scary, edgy recemblance.
Dean meets up with Samuel again. Last time they were eye to eye Dean promised him he'd kill him. He hasn't forgotten his promise. You see Granpa Cambel fed our boys to Crowley. And now they have to work together again if it means getting the job done.
Fat chance that happening.... And such an odd company of hunters.
I loved the Rufus Bobby teaming up though.
Soon enough the monster possesions start. No 1 body host is Dean. And with him starts today's body count.
No 1 to die, Gwen.
Dean shoots her point blank in the chest.
No 2, it's Granpa Cambel.
Sammy shoots him point blank in the head.
I didn't like the character much, I admit it, but the actor did add class to the show. I must say I suddenly felt the luck of it strongly having him gone.
Our team of remaining hunters are starting to have serious trusting issues. It can be anyone of them possessed next or possessed right now. Is the worm thing out of Granpa or is it still nested in him? One way to find out.....
Ouch that must have hurt. Or not... LOL
No 3, it's Rufus.
Bobby stabs him right in the heart.
Too bad such a great character and the backstory on how he and Bobby met, teemed up and the Omaha incident was amazingly written and even more amazingly acted.
And it leaves us with our Sammy and Dean trying to take Evil worm out of Bobby without killing him. Electricity works as we've learned in this episode. It takes the worm out of it's host's body. The boys torture Bobby with it, while Jim Beaver gives an amazing performance, so creepy and strong.
Through it all, We find out that the Mother is pissed, she's out to get our boys, it'll be pain and misery from now on and all they got is each other.
As Dean, Sammy and Bobby stand above Rufus's grave, Dean in the form of Jensen Ackles of course, gives a performance that for me is a true example of what a great show is all about and what SUPERNATURAL is all about: Family.
Whatever anybody has done is forgiven, they're family, they've earned that and even though Sammy does point out "some of us have done plenty", meaning himself, Dean says when he'll die with his "gutts ripped out" he wants both Sammy and Bobby to know apologies accepted, all is let go, what's done is done, clean slate all the way round...
For that and then some, for tonight and all the years passed, this is a great show.....
And cause last impression is what counts.... on a much needed lighter note....

...And doesn't that image brings you... how can I call it? "Like everything is all good......
