Hehehe... :: nods:: Most there consider Phoebe a bitch from Hell. But... she can be good. I like her. The mares we have... they take some time to trust you is appears... once you've been with the program long enough, they know you mean business & are rather willing to work with you. Even to the point of against you to help you learn. These horses are great. Great learning tools. Only time they really scared me was when we had a fire at the Equestrian Center. That's when I paniced a little until we all reached the center & our main focus was to get the hores away from the fire & calm them down. But... true.. Mares have their opinions & emotions. Horses are just like kids. :) As to carrots... LOL... Bethany gave carrots to Magic a couple days ago when Doc checked him out. He was clocked pretty good in the front leg by another horse. Poor Magic. Treats I try not to give them any. They don't need treats. The majority of them are overweight. People overload them with treats as it is! :) But... Phoebe deserved a little something the other day.
I'm SO going to enjoy this semester. If Phoebe & I get along better than last semester... then our progression is great!
