SCHOOL COUNTDOWN: 31 DAYS

Jul 16, 2007 09:07

Hey Homie G's.

I'm posting this from work because no one is here yet to open up the office area, but luckily there's a computer in the lab.

It rained so bad both Saturday and Sunday on the drive in to work. Is anyone else tired of this weather?

I want this job to end and school to start SO DAMN BAD, but on the other hand, there's so much work to be done here and the clock is ticking so fast. My presentation is on the 27th- just two more weeks in the lab to finish my work? Im-freeakin-possible. I already know I can (and kinda have to) stick around the Bio lab til it's time to return to LSMSA, but I haven't asked Dr.Tarr if I can still use his chem labs. I haven't yet even brought up the idea of taking this work to science fairs like I'm sure Dr.Ward will want me to. Wouldn't it suck if they don't let me do presentations of the work? I had to sign a paper saying I wouldn't discuss the research being done here with anyone else. Ooh...top secret.

I talked to my suitemate Lauren for the first time last night. After talking to both Lauren and Sara, I'm really glad they chose to live with us in I300. I sent my roommate, Hailiey, an email last night. I hope she responds.

I now regret immensely trashing all my posters from last year. Sure, they were a little ripped and full of old tape, but they were pretty much salvageable. Now I'm looking at wasting another 50, 60 bucks on eBay buying posters. Oh man....I love you, eBay.

Mira is just hard to please. ;) I've seen Order of the Phoenix twice now and though I was a little perplexed the first time (I thought it moved way too fast), I still think it was pretty damn good. Except David had to go and be like, "You know Lucius Malfoy's hair is a wig, right?" Whatever! I don't care! It's beautiful hair nonetheless. I am completely in love with both him and Sirius. Forget Harry! Heehee.

Okay, I think my solution's done sonicating and the office has been unlocked.
