Do you want to live in High School forever?
Every morning Dave would wake up to the sound of those words ringing in his ears and every morning he would look to his side and see Blaine sleeping wrapped in a cocoon of blanket and Sebastian. How his life end up going from bullying Kurt Hummel to fucking his ex-boyfriend and marrying Sebastian Symth he isn’t sure.
Don’t you deserve more than that?
Kurt helped him after the suicide attempt and Sebastian too, both of them looking after him and making sure he wasn’t letting those thought back to his mind. Of course, Kurt and him kind of drifted after the other boy moved to New York, but they would text and send e-mails for long time yet.
Sebastian found hilarious when Kurt asked for advices in his relationship with Blaine, but sometimes he would sneak a message in Dave’s name and give advices of his own and that was adorable. One or two times Dave would see Blaine, but except from the small smile or wave they would separate ways.
Don’t you want to be happy?
Sebastian became a central point in his life and even if things would always stay lukewarm between them, Dave appreciated the effort and the time. Sometimes he wondered if it was guilt, but Sebastian would smack him in the head and kiss his cheek and those thoughts would fly away.
Slowly things progressed from the kiss in the cheek to the corner of the mouth and then to full lips and tongue and moans and oh god the bites. Hands flying in his hair and back, sometimes teeth biting his neck or collarbone, and he liked so much.
Will you marry me?
Dave proposed and he was afraid of rejection and that maybe Sebastian would laugh, but the only thing he got was a kiss in the cheek like the first times and his fiancé slipping two plane tickets to Vegas in his suit pocket.
His dad approved and his mother never replied so he decided to forget her. Kurt came from New York with Puckerman in his arm and how knew the Jew would come out gay. Sebastian family pretended they didn’t exist except for an aunt that flew from France and brought a gorgeous bed set they sleep for the first time as husbands. Blaine cried the whole time and Sebastian couldn’t believe he was marrying first then Kurt prudish Hummel and cry Baby Anderson.
What we have together isn’t enough?
He was insecure and Sebastian was angry all the time and Blaine fled from them pretending he didn’t see the looks and touches. They should be enough for each other and Blaine should be just the best friend, the best man. It almost broke them apart, but Kurt came and yelled at them for breaking Blaine and “geez, Hummel, no need to be so dramatic!”
Are you happy now?
Between his husband and his boyfriend Dave knew how much love he had in life, how much that silly dream Kurt made him realized meant. Life sometimes doesn’t follow dreams, but that doesn’t mean happiness can’t find you and hit you in the head. They are planning kids and a bigger house and everything seams brighter.
