-_- I don't know why America bothers to remake all these great foreign horror movies if they don't even keep what makes them actually CREEPY! Since it's Sunday that means there is dick on tv and the One Missed Call remake came on. I LOVE the original OMC. A little cheesy, but massively cool. (Sequel sucked balls though.) I guess I'm biased because

Yeah they did, but I haven't seen it. It's got that pretty little girl from A series of Unfortunate Events. They remade the Eye too but I never saw it either. And then The Unborn was a partial remake of a Thai movie of the same name that was pretty cool. And now they're going to do Oldboy which makes me horribly sad. I remember them talking about Audition as well so my favorite movies are being decimated. ;___;

Akira? Hmm...that could go well or horribly depending. The problem with the remakes is that Hollywood makes everyone white despite the fact that alot are set in asia with traditional asian horror beliefs and culture but I guess we're too dumb to grasp other cultures. I mean...they made fucking Dragonball and everyone's white and they changed EVERYTHING about it and it's horrible looking and then they're doing Cowboy Bebop and Keanu's playing Spike...and Keanu can't act his way out of a paper bag. :;sigh:: I wish Hollywood would come up with their own ideas but they want to remake everything and then think it'll be better just because we have more CG but it ruins it in my opinion.
