A little update on my life.

Hello world. Or at least hello to the small portion of the population of the world that reads my journal.

Here's what's going on in Stephanie's life:

I went and saw my new niece for a few days in Salem. She's pretty cute, so I wont have to demand a refund. She looks just like her mommy and sleeps just like her daddy, awww. I'll post pictures soon.

Been having thyroid problems. Went to my regular doctor, they didn't quite know what was wrong. While I was there, they told me that I was due for a tetanus vaccination, and they recommended that I get an HPV shot as well. So I did, I'm not scared of needles or anything. But after the second shot I got really light-headed, passed out and fell straight to the floor. It left a bruise above my left eyebrow for a few days. It was pretty much the scariest thing that has ever happened to me, I had never passed out before that. So anyway, I was sent to an endocrinologist a few weeks later (that appointment was yesterday), they took my blood. Now I wait to see what is wrong with me. Apparently I have some form of Thyroiditis (yeah, sounds made up), and depending on which type I have, I may have to get surgery to have part of my thyroid removed =( The symptoms are driving me nuts and they wont give me any drugs until they know which kind of Thyroiditis to treat. I've been either extremely warm or extremely cold. A sweater is never enough and too much at the same time. Thyroiditis is an inflammation of the thyroid, obviously. But there is a lump on the right side of my gland and it's pinching nerves in my neck, giving me headaches/migraines. And when I get these headaches I get nauseous, too. It's el lame-o. Also been breaking out in weird places, like under my chin and on my shoulders. Odd. Other symptoms I have are moodiness and depression... blah. I just want it to be over and to be back to normal.

My job is going well. I work decent, flexible hours. Make enough to pay rent/bills/etc and still have some left over for fun stuff, like shopping =) I get along with pretty much all of my co-workers, even though they are all younger than me. I get to boss people around. And the job is not hard or boring. Not challenging, either, but that's cool. I don't work too much so I still have lots of time to get things done at home and work on art projects, etc.

New apartment/roommate is awesome as well. This is the first time in a long time that I've gotten my own room. So I am going to decorate it and make it super fancy cool. I will post before and after pictures once it's done. I really need to work on more projects and art, I think I spend too much time online and watching tv. I haven't updated my shop in a long time!

Oh and my love life: pretty non-existent at the moment.

Conan's on.... gotta go!
