It occurs to me that of all my friends from back in my born-again Christian days, I might be the only one who, after leaving, never felt led to return to the fold as it were. And, perhaps relatedly, I have most certainly gone to the left politically as I've gotten older. I read some of my old LJ posts and I'm aghast. It's hard to believe I'm the same person.
