Oh, what a great twist! I love the two of them putting themselves at risk like this, brave men.

And it's wonderfully wrenching, Sherlock watching their "act" and questioning himself, wondering at all the cues he must've missed. Very clever angle here! He hasn't thought this far ahead - actually, he's feeling rather than thinking, isn't he? certainly not his strength - but he could no more delete Lestrade than John. These really are the two most important people in his life, in a very real sense, John for his humanity, for what he brings out in Sherlock and makes him feel, and Lestrade for his patience, for what he enables Sherlock to do and be. And he hasn't been forced to confront any of this before at all.

All of this, and I want them to get that bad guy, too!

I look forward to more. :)
