Right. Important things.

1- I want to take up fell running.

2- Having taken up fell running I want to complete the Bob Graham round. This is held in the Lake district and involves running 42 peaks within 24 hours, the race is approx. 72 miles long, includes (to name a few) Skiddaw, Helvelyn, Scafell, Scafell Pike, Blencathra and Great Gable and the last time the site was updated (from the looks of it 2004) only 75 women had completed it. So it seems like quite a nice ambition.

(3- I'd also quite like to be the first woman (and second person) to do it clockwise and then anti-clockwise in 48 hours, but I feel that just running the terrible thing is enough of a goal to be getting on with, especially for someone as incredibly unfit and with such a complete and utter hatred of all things running as me)

So I have decided I must buy myself a copy of Chariots of Fire (which always inspires me to do sporty things).

And, someone among you lot must remind me in a month's time that I want to do these things...and then the next month, and the next so I don't put it to one side for when I've 'more time' because I will never have more time.

(4- if I get in the position where it is realistic to make an attempt, I'd quite like to start making a documentary of my training and then attempts until I manage it, someone remind of that if we come to it also)
