Weird to think that in a few months, I'll be a third year... Crazy huh?
Damn... I really need a job. I kind of want to buy a broom of my own to modify a bit, but it's not a smart idea. I mean, I don't have the money at all. Where am I going to get that kind of money? Am I supposed to steal it? In the muggle world, I think I'm too young, but I bet I could get some wizard to pay me for stuff. I mean, somebody must be looking for some help.
Hmm... I heard there's a pub in Hogsmeade. I wonder if they need anyone to bus tables or something. I could do that, I think. I mean, it's not that hard. You just clear stuff off and clean it up. I think Mum was a waitress once, and I know Dad did a stint behind the bar. I'll need to talk to them and see what think.
Speaking of... I'm actually amazed. We're still living in the same place as last summer. I'm not sure this has ever happened before. Dad said we need to be careful, though. The cops are looking around or something. Damn cops. I don't know why we don't just put some charms on there or something. I'm sure we could make it so only cops get kept out... There's got to be a way.
Sigh... I don't want to move again. I'm tired of moving and the place we're in seems pretty sweet. I mean, Dad said I can get my own room this summer if I can find a spare one. I'm excited. I should tell Fiona. I just got that letter a few minutes ago, so I haven't had the chance to consult her...
Random: That girl who always is getting me in trouble - Delphia... - is done after this year, I think. Is it weird that I think I might miss her when she's no longer at Hogwarts? Maybe I'm a... what's that word? Masochist. Maybe I'm a masochist. I mean... it doesn't make sense any other way. Why would I miss someone who gets me in trouble all the time? Weird.
