I walk a lonely road, the only road that I have ever known...

So I was up Monday night/Tuesday morning, writing this long, wonderful post about my trip...then my computer froze before I posted, so therefore, I'm gonna retype it now...or at least in a few minutes.

I skipped band last night...I was feeling quite downtrodded. Just didn't feel like being around anyone...so I went to bed, slept until 3:45 a.m. And now, I up, at 8:30, and I don't have to work until 4 this evening. Oh well...I think I'm in for a long day.

So my trip was absolutely wonderful, but I was ready to come home...my body doesn't know how to react to 5 days of relaxation. I was ready to come back to being too busy for my own good.

Tuesday...worked a couple of hours to help out a friend at the Farm...then off to band. After band, packed up for the trip. Went shopping earlier in the day, went to Wal-Mart. We don't shop there anymore, only about once every 4 or 5 months, if that often.

Wednesday...we left, my dad and me, around 8:30 that morning, and was there by 2:30. It's not really that long of a drive. Had a pretty nice trip down there. When we got there, of course I played with the baby and caught up a bit with my cousin. My dad headed home around 5, and we got ready for church. It was Church of Christ...different than what I'm use to, but it was nice to be back in church. By the time we got home, another "cousin" and her husband had arrived...they were staying until Sunday as well. It had been about 7 or 8 years since I had seen her, so that was nice. We then started the first season of Dead Like Me. Very funny, yet demented show, I know want to buy it so I can watch it again.

Thursday...finished Dead Like Me, and started the first season of Dark Angel. It made me quite upset that it was cancelled after only two seasons, not to mention that Micheal Weatherly is completely hot (sorry, brief female hormonal moment). Later that night we had a Creative Memories rep come for a party, kinda like tupperware. That was nice, then later that night I scrapbooked some, first time since October.

Friday...watched Dark Angel some more. Around 7 that night we, as in everyone except for Sunshine and the baby, went to Barnes and Nobles for a couple of hours then to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things for Saturday. When we got back, I worked on homework for around 2 hours. Then I fell asleep reading Farenheit 451, which i hadn't even bought that night.

Saturday...had more family over. Had a cookout too, hamburgers. They were quite yummy. I scrapbooked some more too. We also watched the first season of Greg the Bunny, and the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. After everyone went home, we watched...yes, more Dark Angel. Actually finished it that night. However I didn't go to sleep until almost 6 a.m.

Sunday...got woke up around 7:40, yes less than two hours later, I got woke up for church. Went to church, yet again, little odd and different than what I'm used too, but nice none-the-less. When we got home, my dad was waiting for me, but I wasn't packed up. So we head to Walgreens to have some film developed while I packed. We ended up heading home around 3 and was home by 9 that evening.

I had a great time. Played with the baby alot, got to feed him, and hold him, and love on him. Now I miss him, and everyone else. But I'll probably go back down, or they'll come up to see us in a few months. But I am glad to be back to my usual fast-paced life.

And now I'm off to attend to some business before work.

peace
