Ok, I have a new icon, and clearly it needs explaining. There's more here than you think.
That cat in my icon? That's Jack. He's one of the best friends of Matakichi (Whom we called "Macachichi" when we were still in elementary school and before Otaku speak hit the west.) and drummer in Mac's band.
This is all from a book in the 80's called NamenNayo Cats which originated in Japan. I got the book from an aunt or cousin or something, and I and all the kids on the neighbourhood would imagine we were the Namennayo Cats.
I was Jack, But I was called Jake because 8 year old me liked that name better!
Bradley and Daniel, my next door neighbours would fight over Leo, the one with the black and white guitar.
And HeatherAnne would be Teddy, who likes Transvestism. Which in retrospect is fitting in a way.
Sadly, I lost this book when we moved shit around in our house long ago. I would do...a lot... to have this book in my possession once again. It's right up there with Brian Froud's World of the Dark Crystal and Flight of Dragons.
Anyway. I have much, much room for icons. I will now upload character icons!
I hope to use these when talking about characters. Organization, and garnering interest and stuff.
