What does that even mean?

Ah, "talks shop" tends to refer to chatting about a shared hobby or, more often, career/career type. So Claudia and Queen Beryl "talking shop" might be discussing the ins and outs of being a female villain, or messing with 15 year olds, or who knows what. If that's still too vague, you can just have the two of them talking to each other. ^^

Oh my GOD! I would read that whole thing were it a complete fic! I can picture that whole setting perfectly. Tea in the Negaverse....or more humorously, tea at Starbucks.....or more absurdly, tea in a trucker stop.
