Elven Lacryment made me realize that I'm going though a shift and it is quite interesting.
On the right hand side on EL's page, there are links to Alex's and my stuff. She has two links: one to her DA and one to her sketchblog, I have a link to my DA, and Splurd has a link. I don't even link to A Girl Called Kermit. I suppose I could... Actually. I will.
Now, I do a lot of things. I have two fan fic archives I own, I have a FFN archive, Youtube, Psychosis, F4E, PimH, Valtiel.com, LJ, Inksome... And none of these felt appropriate to link to.
I suppose perhaps I'm in a stage of separating my fandom self from my non-fandom self.
I mean, yes, I have a separate email address for 'work'. I use it for sending query letters and applying for jobs or posting on writing forums. The writer of Project C is separate from, say, the identity of SailorAnubis.
At this point the only reason I don't have a writing blog is because I don't think I'm awesome enough to be followed on two blogs. If fandom shit interests you, you'll read those entries. If writing shit interests you, you'll read those entries. If you're just here for my webcomics, you'll just read those entries. And scroll past the rest.
Honestly, this is how I think it should be.
This is why I don't follow people's icon blogs or whatever. Use tags, filters, keep it all together.
So yeah. I only have one link. I'm downsizing!
