Mona Lisa's Smile
Ok, so we watched Mona Lisa's Smile last night and it was my first time seeing it. Why didn't anyone tell me it was about a teacher and female education of the 1950s?! I thought it was some kind of dumb chick flick. No one I talked to was terribly impressed. But its great! I mean really awesome. Especially considering many of the girls in the city I'm moving to think like that still. Hmmm....am plotting new lesson plans.
Speaking of which, am sending off my syllabus for Earth Science to my department head today. Eek. It was reviewed multiple times by my mom but I'm still nervous. Actually, watching that movie terrified me in general. Am having a controlled panic.
Happily, my prof is gone so I can work on school stuff instead of my research :)
Finally heard from Jen Shontz today...yay!!!! Insanity of the monkeys and the gnomes unite! All shall be in despair! mwahahahahaha
