Well actually I'm back in London, thankfully. But I think my experience at Medway has been much better this year than last, probably because I'm more assertive now : p
I did manage to see a normal delivery (and participate!!) without having to wait tooo long today. The father was so sweet, he bought the midwife and I canned drinks cuz he thought we might be thirsty. The mom was just 22 and they had been married almost 4 years o.o but she really did well, and didn't need an epidural eventually! I can't imagine being in labour at this stage of my life! I also emailed my mom about her birth experience with me : p apparently it was really painful; she didn't even feel the episiotomy cuz there was just so much background pain!! Good grief, I wonder what it'll be like when my turn comes : p
Also learned that C-sections don't prevent people from getting prolapse, contrary to what I thought : p
Honestly have been quite lazy these few days, haven't been doing much revision at all, and exams are in just about a month aaaargh!
And meanwhile my iPhone4's power button has decided to break (ie no physical/electronic response) for no apparent reason so will be heading down first thing to an Apple store tomorrow. Hopefully will get an appointment with a 'genius' to get this fixed. I anticipate lots of arguing as I'm out of warranty by about 6 months, but gonna use some EU consumer law document thing I managed to find while googling the broken button issue. If I don't succeed I will have to pay £120 for a new phone which is ludicrous! Grrrr, touchscreen phones are useless if the tactile buttons break!! /rage
