(no subject)
Wow it's been a crazy first week back at uni. Tired, and really haven't accomplished much during the course of the week -- the new timetable is way too confusing : s and somehow I can't seem to find a way to get involved at KCH, the staff are friendly.. when you get hold of them : p
On a far brighter note, I got to see my first 2 deliveries today!! One was vaginal, the 2nd was an emergency C-section -- baby came out looking really blue and didn't breathe for a few minutes; the neonatal resus team had to come in, it was SO nerve-wracking and I was so frightened that the baby wouldn't live. She did though, mum was doing ok too. This SSC is going to be alot of work, although I guess I'm really glad I'm doing it cuz I get to be so much more involved on the birth centre. (And get my signups too : p)
Anyways, off to bed now. It's been a week of horribly early starts : p
