Dowsed in apprehension,
Blinking steadfast in the lights.
I am bound into submission,
By your fatalistic might.
Resonate through mortal winter,
And turn to face the mourning sight.
If the remnants of forgiveness,
Lead me back into your night.

Silver grains will etch your presence,
In the mirrors of my mind.
Seeking peace within the hallways,
I am cold and I am blind.
Over showers of remembrance,
And the fear to which I bind.
In your eyes I see the lovely ache,
I know that I shall find.
