Oh, I liked this! Thank you!

It's funny -- I disliked Mayu early on in the series (for threatening to dye Kyou's hair), but the more I found out about her, the more I liked her. She's an interesting secondary character -- probably my favorite secondary character. I really, really enjoyed your take on her, too. Several things struck a chord in me, but the biggest one was that, no, I don't think she IS one of those people who thrives on doing things slowly.

I actually think of Mayu as being fairly fiery and more than a little impatient, so I've always wondered how she manages to keep herself under control when dealing with Shigure and the entire sad mess with Hatori. Thus the plot bunny from hell was born ;) I think I get a special discount for them now ;) I'm glad that you enjoyed the drabble- I haven't written about Mayu before and she's one of the few secondary characters I really like (the entire student council generally either bores or irritates me). I'm delighted that I had the chance to return the favour for the Casablanca drabble one way or the other. As a side note, because I'm terrible at commenting and sound just like everyone else anyways, your grandfather sounds like a remarkable man and your relationship sounds like something hugely positive for both of you. I wish you both the best for the coming operation. -Hugs Niamh back-
