002 ][ i'll do things for you

Mooching is bad.

Is anyone hiring? I have no useful job skills and I've never been non-self-employed before. Honesty is the best policy.

More importantly, does anyone out there play an instrument? Vocalists? Managers?

Because I'm cursorily interested in seeing if it would be possible to start up a band here. That way I don't have to hold a job

financial independence, gainful employment, something fishy happening here, this situation is confusing and alien, not a panic situation yet, underwhelmed, as nature made him, dingoes ate my baby, mooching is bad

And now I have a good idea of how old you are even without having to do any creepy digging or asking directly.

You're asking for a job. Stands to reason that you're eighteen. Unless you're just exceptional and productive.

Oh. Right. Otherwise I'd get a...stipend-thing.

I'm closer to nineteen than eighteen actually.

When's your birthday? We've had two conversations. This enables serious cake-giving necessity.

February 8th. Missed it by a little bit. I'm sorry.

I'll have to find another lab rat.

So you're in a band. Do you ever use that line on girls?

ananticlimax June 11 2009, 01:56:30 UTC
It's a line?

Apparently it's the safest one.

I don't think I've ever used it on a girl. I don't think I've ever used a line on a girl at all.

That's actually a good thing.

I was thinking it was a neutral thing mostly. But if it's a good thing, that's good. I could use the karma.

Good luck finding a job with that karma.

I'm not sure karma works on gainful employment. But I'm willing to stock dairy cooler shelves.

I'm not sure karma works at all, but I'm sure you're highly qualified to be a milk boy.

And very little else.
