GERM: Going to be an awesome semester. I love the teacher, had her last semester, and the class promises to be an absolute riot. And probably the only thing keeping me sane with so much environmental policy to fill my brain. I told me twice that my translation was dead on, which is always nice to hear.
SOCY: I was off, slightly. The teacher is not new. He just hasn't taught in 6 years and hasn't taught this class in 10. While going through the syllabus he was all excited about this new thing called "the blackboard" and how he could have "the blackboard" for this class on which he could put the 1400 book/article bibliography on environmental sociology that he's been working on for the last couple years that will help us with our term papers. He's the cutest little old man too, he has no hair to speak of, has the biggest, thickest glasses ever, and a lisp. He's hard to follow though, so paying attention will be hard, taking notes even harder. But I'll manage, if anyone has any good ideas for a topic on something environmental that affects society, let me know, I'm fresh out.
My second CHEM and ENVS classes were good too.
I went to Cyn's birthday party tonight and ended up lacing Lor into her corset. This resulted in multiple blisters on my fingers from rope burns because I had to pull the laces so tight. She only lasted ten minutes in it too, which means she'll have to practice some more before she can wear it for a full day. I feel this means my hands will soon get accustomed to lacing it, hopefully.
In other news, my own corset should be in the mail by the end of the month. I just hope that means it'll get to my house before Eric leaves for DC so he can bring it with him when he comes so I can wear it to the dance. And for those concerned, I have no intention of lacing it very tightly, I just need the support a corset can provide under a strapless dress.
