I either sleep too much, or not enough.
Night before last, I barely slept, only falling asleep around 7am, and then getting up at 10am. (Needing to get up and, oh, um, you know, WORK. Make MONEY.) And the day was spend essentially being all over the place outside the home, so no real opportunity to even sit and rest. I crawl into bed around midnight, read fanfic (shut up) until 2am, when I logically decide I should try and get some sleep. At least try.
No such luck.
Tossed and turned until 5am. At one point I thought I was having a heart attack* my heart was pumping so fast and there was a sharp pain in my left side. And then, a couple of hours later, every single muscle in my body came ALIVE with the urge/need to MOVE**. NOW. I spent about a half hour alternately flexing muscles, holding them stiff and hard, and then relaxing them, until they finally stopped screaming at me for action. Fucking painful, man.
So, yeah, at 5am I stopped chasing sleep, and took out my laptop. And watched the videos from this past weekend's SPN Con. Great stuff!
Gotta go out again today.
I figure by thursday, or friday, I'll fall back into can't-wake-up mode again. That's how it is. Either one extreme, or the other.
The thing is, I feel like I should try and sleep, lest sleep suddenly decides, in the middle of the day, to come NOW, and I find myself walking into walls, eyes half open, brain turned off, tripping on dust bunnies, forgetting simple things like, oh, how to breathe!
Not fun.
* had my heart checked; nothing's wrong with it! Apparently, suddenly deciding to alter rhythms and slam itself against my chest is considered normal. :\
** could this be Restless Leg Syndrome? I fucking hate it.
