I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT CHRISTMAS.
I seriously love this season so much. And I was able to get my family some cool stuff so I'm really pumped about Christmas morning.
I saw a meteor shower last night. Marisa and Emily picked me up at 2:30am and we drove 40 minutes out of the city to watch. We brought coffee, cookies and banana bread, a little joint, and a big blanket. I would guess that I saw about 50, though one in particular was mind blowing. I would say it lasted about 2-3 seconds and left a trail, and fell from the top of the sky to beyond the horizon. Unreal.
It was wonderful and made us all thankful to be alive. We also noted how much we felt like cavemen because we kept grunting and pointing whenever we saw one. It made us laugh at the strange instincts we all have.
I've done a couple serving shifts at work and the money is insane. I'm excited for them to start putting me on the floor more, although when I got back on the bar after a couple days I was immediately like "OMG IM HOME."
There's a Jersey Shore marathon on and I'm making some sweet collages. (Homemade gifts are the best kind, yeah?)
