Haha this journal has been so out of the loop. Well back track a bit. In late July my mother brought home a new puppy for our family. A Chug (pug mix).
We called her Missy and things were going ok.
Then as she got bigger and can move around better, she took to biting Milo our pug. She got really possessive of chew toys and who gets to pet her. And she doesn't like children or strangers, barks at them (sometimes growls). We thought that through some training school and at home training she would get better.
It's Sept. and I am far away from home at Grad school. I heard from my mom that when she took Missy to puppy school she tried to bite the other dogs and growled at the trainer. I also heard that Milo is getting scabs on the back of his legs from her biting. I think the class was the deciding factor for Missy. She's going to be looking to get rid of her to a lady at her work. Mom thinks that Missy would do better in a one dog house. She wants to find someone before Missy gets fixed so she doesn't have to pay for the neutering. It's not a set in stone but my mom just keeps comparing her to Louie (which was another pug we had to babysit for two months last year. He wasn't potty trained at all and liked to fight Milo.)
I feel sad yet I don't have any control over the situwation. I can't be there to take care of the dog or put time to train her while I'm here. I really love little Milo monster so I do want him to be happy and safe. What do you think should be done?
