Raining and Pittsburgh
I guess I do remember it raining in Japan (and not just the sun-shiny days); it just has to rain properly here to trigger them.
Run to Pittsburgh for my asian-food shopping needs. Now that I've started paying attention to food, the whole store looks yummy.
Bonding time with the mommy. This normally means she falls asleep on me as we watch tv, but today translates to, we went to gym orientation together. They basically explained how the machines worked and measured us for height/machine. (big whoop) A gym which I will most likely never use, because, um, it's in Wheeling?
Something like 4 days until the ever lovely nihongofrancais visits me in DC. 超楽しんでるよ。
I guess the dvd drive isn't so bad after all, despite a rocky start.
"Her name is Cookie. Hold her close and she'll lick your nose!"
Someone across the street got flowers sent to them (I think someone might have died); only, they were addressed wrong and through a series of events (such as the mis-addressed house having no one home), we ended up getting them to deliver later.
*edit* Ok, so the dead kid on Law and Order tonight, he was in my graduating class. How awesome is that?
But Georgetown doesn't have basketball scholarships. We're need-based yo.
