They both like women, Arthur more than Eames, and sometimes Arthur's dick isn't the one Eames wants to suck. They have rules for themselves--together--and a few rules for when they aren't, but it's about the same as before, just with the expectations spelled out. It's about trust and security here too: if Eames is going to trust Arthur with his body, he sure as hell is going to trust Arthur with his own.

Eames jerks off to it, if he's home and he knows Arthur's going out with someone else. He's not sure what it is about it that does it to him--Eames never cared with anyone else whether they fucked anyone else or not; Eames didn't even care about it with Arthur, before all the rest of it. Now, though, now it does things to him, imagining Arthur with someone else, imagining what they'll do, and how they'll react, and how Arthur will be through it all.

Eames likes when Arthur been with a woman best. It's not some misguided thing about rivals and 'real' competition--he just likes the way he smells, someone's perfume lingering in his hair, on his shirt. Eames likes the smudges of lipstick he finds sometimes still on Arthur's skin. Eames loves when they've left nail marks on Arthur's back, loves the way Arthur hisses when Eames presses down on the scratches, and the way he'll fuck harder into Eames or just open right up and fucking take it from Eames if he does. He loves that he gets a reaction from Arthur every time, skin marked up by someone else, sure, but this, now is all Eames.

It's not about restaking a claim, or fitting his fingertips to the mark's someone else has left, and pressing his bruises in on top of them, pushing them in deeper than them. It's not about finding teeth marks bruising the skin on Arthur's shoulder and putting his own mark down in Arthur's neck. Eames doesn't need to feel like he owns Arthur, not even a little bit, because he's happier knowing Arthur likes him, and trusts him, and heck, loves him. Eames likes the way they work together, all the ways they work together, but he really likes the little ways Arthur is different after sleeping with someone else. Maybe that's the appeal, right there: the way Arthur comes home a different Arthur than the one Eames is used to seeing, the way Eames gets to see more of Arthur this way than he would any other.
