so, assuming that the power company is running on time, they've shut off our power in my building as of 1 minute ago. Thankfully, however, I am safely ensconced at Tego's, and so I have internet and light and everything is lovely. *grateful forever*

Also grateful that Elissa's got the cat in with her, because honestly, I was a little alarmed at the possibility of waking up to a faceful of cat. I've never had one, but I hear that this is a thing that they do.
