happy post day one

Things that made me happy today:

+getting a seat on the metro at Ballston
+foodporn on my mp3 player!
+instahot giving me scalding water for my tea.
+bakers in my office. We have a lot of people who like to bake (presumably,
because they keep baking things and bringing them in and pressing them upon
unwary officemates like myself. THIS IS SPLENDID!), and they bring things in
and today i got choco amish cake with choco chips in it for...pretty much
sitting at my desk and having accepted it last time.
+my girls from georgetown and my girls @akatroops :) you make my day
wonderful everyday.
+getting into the proposal-writing course at SRA. (which, coincidentally
means getting out of the weekly comm committee meeting, also a major
plus from my boat)
+that i shall shortly be having curry and cornflakes for lunch
+that holmes/watson fic i have been reading in my email. (will provide links
later for the curious or interested minor interlude, but really the sequel, hallowed be thy name)
+being able to listen to music at work.

(and just think. it's not even noon yet!)
