managed to get dinner with therelic, her friends, and rocksizedheart down at Bangkok Joe's. It was a good time, though I'd (actually, we all had) completely forgotten about M st's halloween thing, so i had to walk a good ways further than I'd planned since the bus detoured around M st entirely.

In hindsight, turning down mum's offer of a hair straightener was a mistake. With the short hair (and I forget this every time. perhaps now i'll learn?) i always look like i have 'morning after' hair when i wake up. In this case, it's 'morning after being rolled down a hill in a barrel' hair.

I've got to be at work (which will actually be the hotel where the conference is) around 7 am tomorrow, which is when I normally wake up and i am so displeased about this. of course, it was pitch black by like, 6 or something today, so i kind of feel like it's 9pm, and maybe i'll get to sleep at a decent hour and not be dead tomorrow??
