was gonna post. so, posting this instead.
decided i'm too tired to write it all out. but my awful meeting's over for another 4.5 months at least. i didn't really realize how stressed i was until it was over and a lot of the stress left. like, yesterday, i knew i was stressed out, but it was above an invisible layer i'd gotten so used to i'd stopped noticing it. and now that it's gone it's kind of like, 'oh hey, those muscles in my shoulders, they relax? seriously??'

The happy hour after work was pretty fun. We went to Bar Louie on Desi's recommendation, and it was just a really, really nice venue. Erica'd gotten a couple group-sized appetizers when she reserved the back space (which was really nice and open, and not like, a dingy back room), and we paid for our own drinks. beers were better: all drafts for 3 bucks, wines were 4 or 5, and then the mixed drinks were expensive. the food was all amazing, though, and I basically had that instead of dinner.

sillyandmorbid: you don't need to worry about it. dad will yell at you on the day of bc you're not getting ready fast enough. lol
also, mel's been infecting us all :( she went home early today, and won't be in tomorrow. after that, it's her already-planned vaca, so i'm on my own for a bit.
