so one of my least favourite things to do when i'm home is to run into people i went to high school with. i really can't explain it, but i hate when it happens. awkward small talk and all that.
yesterday, annie had a gig, though, and one of the other quartet members was in my graduating class. I don't think i've seen wendy since graduation, and it wasn't really so bad. we were never really friends, so yes. got caught up on a bit of strings gossip and annie made a hundred bucks.
today at church (and then kroeger) avoided 'noticing' people i went to school with. win~

dad shows his love by giving me cherry tomatoes. ♥
our bathroom is really nice! very pretty~ we did a good job of picking stuff out! the front room is also really nice, and looks SO MUCH NEATER, probably because the desk had to be moved so many times you couldn't just let the junk pile up. But mum moved two bookshelves down into the cold room from the upstairs hallway, and they look v pretty there, plus the hallway looks huge now. Of course, you can also see how the plaster walls in the hallway are sagging.

I can't believe it's sunday already! tomorrow will be full of doctor appointments, and then a 5 hour drive back to real life. the vacation's been nice!
