Friday night, i went to Noah's place with Tego for shabbat (which took place in hebrew, which i don't know. yet! lol ← optimism!). We then ordered pizza, and watched coraline. a little into the movie one of his friends lisa showed up. the pizza was really good, and so was the movie, but also rather frightening. like the book, kind of a kid's movie, but really really not.
then one of his other friends came, but i didn't get the name this time, and we played apples to apples. supposedly tego's first time, but she totally creamed us all. she is either an apples-to-apples savant, or secretly and apples-to-apples shark. it's a toss-up.
dinner with rocksizedheart today produced the idea of complimentary distribution between palin and obama supporters. Anne joined us a bit earlier than she thought she could, which meant i didn't have to run out on her as soon asi thought i'd have to.
my coworker/fed manager who's a pittsburgh native and my ally pens fan in the office actually gets to go to the white house tomorrow to see the penguins there. guess the HHS got a few tickets, but they certainly weren't open to lowly contractors. :(
yesterday i lined up after work to get tix to the taming of the shrew at the DC Shakespeare company's free for all. I didn't manage to get tix, but i got voucher number 62. tego came to join me after work, and 62 got us in (though i think we were sitting in literally, two of the only 4 bad seats in the house). It was a lot of fun, despite me disagreeing with basically the whole point of the play, and only the second time i'd ever seen shakespeare performed live. since the other time was my high school, let's just say this was exponentially better.
so. i think i am finally done with my jerainbowbridge fic. it's kind of weird.
