went to the office happy hour today after work. surprisingly, it was a pretty good time. who'd have thought 50 year olds were so much fun--particularly when they're your coworkers. but yeah, it wasn't bad. one arm is darker than the other, thanks to sunset, but. yes.
also, i didn't get carded. they did billie, who's about two years older than me, then mel asked if they were going to card her, and then no one asked me for mine. i guess they figured we were clearly a group coming out after work.
also funny, randomly halfway through, two girls came up and then walked away. apparently, they were looking for an SLA group, and waitresses thought it was us, because we're SRA.
mel was having a stressful day today, which was in part because erica was having a bad day, and part made erica's day bad (vicious circle~) but i'm glad she came out. she'd never gone to any of them. i figure, sure i'm not a social person, but it's better to go than to not. anyway, i was v productive today, and even managed not to procrastinate on the msr i hate so much.
coming out of ballston station though, i ran into krisztina, so i went home with her. She gave me a little bit of cherry soup in a cup (omg so good!) and then, a while later the rice finished and tego fed me and stillesprite chili over brown rice.
It was really nice sitting and watching tv with those girls, even though baseball just about bores me to tears ♥
