Some planning for the dreaded all-hands meeting took place today. One of the ladies who's in charge of it, J, is notoriously difficult to work with (from what I'm told. I've had people come up to me in the office and say something about it, after hearing that i had a meeting to ...plan a meeting (roflrofl) today). But she didn't seem especially bad today, and I think I've impressed her some, because she went and told Mel afterwards that I was sharp and a good hire. So. Yes. That.
The planning itself is probably going to cause me some considerable stress, but it doesn't look like it's going to be an impossible task.
I went to bed early yesterday, after eating actual green vegetables, and am feeling considerably better today. Throat's still a little sore, but hopefully it'll be gone by the weekend. I have to take good care of myself until I've accrued some leave.
And yes, my badge works. every time i go through a door, i try mine first, then when it doesn't work, use someone else's. This afternoon i let myself into the bathroom and it wasn't until I was inside that i realized i used my tag. My joy. was so great. And then I let myself back into the office. i swear. i flailed a bit.
