I'm really behind on my word-count for the month between moving and having to work all day and the month kind of ends tomorrow. Yikes! Leave me prompts, and I'll see what I can't write you. I'll write JE, and am willing to attempt GW, MERLIN, and J2 (and possibly original stuff, but idk why you'd want to request that

It was an innocuous start, a crossing of paths on a street corner complicated by large crowds and a failure to appropriately navigate personal space (in the end, no conclusion could be reached as to exactly whose failure it was). Bodies connected, and parcels dropped and there was a mad, mutual rush to collect everything again before it was trampled under the feet of the hordes around Shinjuku Station (east exit).

It wasn't until they'd gotten everything (or at least, as far as they could determine) picked up, and sorted out that they really looked at each other. The reaction was instantaneous. Their eyes locked. It was electric. A chemical reaction. One akin to dropping cesium into a bucket of water. Explosive, violent, quite possibly blinding, and really really not good to be next to when it occurred.

Sparks flew. The bad kind. The kind that bystanders notice from across rooms because of all the people diving out of the way in a panic (some sources who were farther away from the blast radius--and safely behind glass--later reported that people actually did dive out of the way; innocents caught closer to ground zero claimed that they did not dive so much as the combined force of Kame and Ro's personalities warring with each other literally knocked them off their feet).

Meters measuring tectonic activity in Chiba reported incidental movement then (6:47 pm, November 3, 2010), but as no other stations reported the same activity and the tectonic plates themselves had not seemed to have moved any, they wrote it off as error.

No one would forget the day Ro and Kame met, least of all them.
