i am bad at the birthday remembering, but if i forgot my little sister's while living in the same house with her, i would be the biggest fail to ever walk the face of the planet. i'm not quite there yet.

Several years ago, when you were born, it was the coldest day of the year. In fact, it was the record setting coldest day for....probably as long as this set of records has been kept. The car had to be towed out of the icy-covered driveway and then jumpstarted so that mom could be taken to the hospital so you could be born. Jianjian and I stayed over at Barb's house and tried to train Calvin on obstacle courses until we got a call saying you were born at 10:37 pm. And the Penguins lost the game because labour distracted mom from sending her concern rays through the TV.
Today it's actually above freezing, so you're moving up in the world. Happy Birthday! I hope this is your best birthday yet ♥
