mom and jianjian, simultaneously: POOP RACE!!!!

annie's had the past two days off from school. she's excited, because this is probably the best exam week ever (at least until they have to make them up) :D i love snow. the extreme cold that canceled today, on the other hand, not so much.
i helped dad shovel the walk as well (in my lovely 4-inch heels). not bad except for the, well, extreme cold (it's not just below freezing, it's below 0). my fingers :( at least it wasn't windy.

mom: AVENGE ME!!

my student loan stuff came yesterday D: times like these make me wish the government had let sallie mae burn in the hole they dug for themselves

sillyandmorbid: get her a book on how to play the erhu. 'erhu for dummies'. it ranks up there with german.

I have to say this. If you're ever in Wheeling, WV for dinner (long shot, i know), and it's cold out, go to The Alpha. Order their chicken pot pie. It is phenomenal. Absolutely amazing. It's really more of a turnover than a 'pie', a pocket of the most delicious, fluffy, flaky crust baked to a wonderful golden brown. Inside, along with a scrumptious sauce, were big hunks of white meat chicken, peas, carrots, onions, and celery. I personally am not a big fan of celery, so i picked that out (i've resigned myself to getting it in pot pie) but. mmm i can't even begin to tell you.
And on top of that, it's big. Comes with two sides, one i split with dad, and the mashed potatoes were also really good. I ended up taking most of them home because I couldn't finish, but couldn't bear to leave them, along with half the pot pie. Totally worth the 9.90 or so it cost.

maya_morning: you are v.v.v.v.v.decent though!
