AKAME, SIX SECONDS OF SILENCE. HAH.anamuanJanuary 1 2009, 09:18:41 UTC
They went for 2 years and 4 months of almost constant bickering, before they grew up enough to let little insignificant things go. It took 2 years and 4 months to figure out how to work together instead of just working in the same group. 2 years and 4 months of figuring out what they wanted from themselves, what to do with their lives. Sometimes growing up took a long time.
Jin took 6 months in L.A. to learn English. 6 months away from KAT-TUN, the industry, all of Japan. 6 months of Kame working himself hard and thin, trying to pull 6 people's worth of weight in a suddenly 5-person group.
The plane ride back took 13 hours, hours Kame spent working and sleeping and getting ready for a press con he wasn't sure he was ready for. Jin spent them about the same way. And once the plane was down, and Jin was back everything was a flurry of noise and action, and preparation.
They had six seconds of silence in the wings, before walking out for the press conference. Six seconds of KAT-TUN together again, taking a deep, steadying collective breath, and six seconds of Kame quietly meeting Jin's eyes. Sometimes growing up took a long time. But, as Jin smiled wide for the cameras, it was worth the wait.

bwahaha. THERE IS THIS THING I GOT FROM THE COMM WHERE YOU PUT IN HOW MANY WORDS YOU WROTE AND THE TIME IT TOOK YOU TO WRITE THEM AND IT CALCULATES A) YOUR WORD PER HOUR, B) HOW MANY MORE WORDS YOU NEED TO WRITE PER DAY TO MAKE IT IN TIME. it's kind of cool, actually. they've got all the words/day/month written out for you. XD i get to skip day 3. and maybe if i write more, day 4. I'll have to keep my enthusiasm up, and maybe i'll get as far as halfway through january before i quit this thing XDD
