Thank you, sollasollew11 and maya_morning for your work. 1) Don't feel obligated to post anything. We know you all have busy lives, and that it's a busy time of year. The point isn't

If there's anything Kamenashi Kazuya knows better than modeling, it's making money. As one half of the up-and-coming modeling duo, Kame would know how best to market himself (and, of course, his partner, Tanaka Koki). The Jimusho--Johnny's Jimusho to everyone else--is basically made up of modeling duos; each duo has their own little niche: classy, sporty, boys next door, cute, angsty, goofy, etc. For Kame and Koki, they were under the "sexy" category, or as Koki once jokingly called it, "the boys you want to take home and fuck till you can't breathe anymore." (Kame had hit him over the head for that.)
Kame loves his job, is good at his job, and doesn't think anyone could be better than him and Koki. Even one of their previous sempais--Okada Junichi who had become a photographer after falling in love with his camera--had Kame's approval and if there ( ... )

"I know that," Kame says gruffly. "They just piss me off."
"Because they're good?"
Kame frowns. "No. It just doesn't seem like they really care about things and they're just going about the motions."
"Or they make it look enjoyable because they're friends and know how to have fun, Kamenashi. Do you remember thatKame glares at Koki. "I have fun doing my job. Professionally ( ... )

"Great," Yamashita breathes. "We can have dinner at my place. I'll make sure to kick Jin out."
"He can come to our place in exchange," Koki suddenly pipes up.
"Wait, what?" Akanishi hisses, ambling over to Yamashita's side and looking up with huge eyes that Kame can just imagine why he'd be good in photoshoots ( ... )

The next shoot goes something along the next lines--Kame trying to get Yamashita to smile and Yamashita throwing Kame off balance with weird comments on his work habits and his style, things that Kame barely let anyone joke about unless they were Koki. Except with Yamashita, Kame can't find it in him to be pissed about it or indignant or even a little bit offended. He's not. In fact, something about the way Yamashita works reminds Kame strangely of his own work habits--to the point that Koki groans on the couch with a pillow over his head, "Damn it, if you're going to fangirl him one more time, I am ( ... )

Kame nods, suddenly feeling awkward. "Well, I mean. It's a nickname. That's what everyone usually calls me. Less of a mouthful than Kamenashi-kun or whatever, so I thought it'd help and--"
"And you can call me Yamapi," Yamashita interrupts to Kame's glee; he wasn't sure where he was going with that train of thought anyway.
"Yamapi?" Kame asks. "I get Yama, but pi?"
Yamashita--Yamapi--starts to flush around the cheeks, startling Kame out of that thought when he slams the locker door. "Takki gave it to me when I was younger. I might... I was... I liked the color pink back then. It was stupid."
Kame snickers as they walk out of the room. "Wow. And now you're stuck remembering it forever."
"Shut up, Kamenashi," Yamapi snipes as he throws on his sunglasses.
"Does that mean if someone's trying to be more formal they'd go, Yamashita Pink?" Kame asks, jogging to catch up to Yamapi's quick pace ( ... )

The month is gone before Kame realizes and he finds himself a little saddened at the thought that they're actually done and while he loves working with Koki, he'd developed some sort of system with Yamapi--he didn't even have to try to make Yamapi smile for shoots. It just happened naturally.
For their last shoot ever as separate pairings, Johnny arranges for them to have five pages to themselves--first two are of the swapped pairings.
Kame and Yamapi end up in casual jeans, Yamapi in this leather jacket while Kame wears this jeans one that's a little more bejeweled than he'd like but otherwise looks kinda cool. They even use Yamapi's usual sunglasses as a prop for it and they shoot outdoors"Are you going to miss this?" Yamapi asks as they round a corner, the camera ( ... )

Kame thinks it's the most realistic shoot he's ever had.
For the last two pages, it's them in their normal pairings. Kame and Koki wear these tuxedos, bouquets in their hands as though they're about to present it, while Yamapi and Jin dress in these ridiculous feathery and sparkly costumes that are only appropriate for idols as they hold microphones and pretend to serenade the camera, or at least that's what Kame figures ( ... )
