I'm being asocial

jadedfrenzy: Look! It's Nakamaru! ;^)

there was a moment wednesday when rocksizedheart looked at me, after we'd suggested to the bartender that we might like another drink and he asked if we didn't want to kick it up a notch (I shrugged and smiled and said sure!), and said, "You really are an enabler, you know!"

btw, READ THE UEDA/YAMAPI. Read it. reaaaad it. I dreamt about Ueda/Pi last night. (along with the fact that doing the dishes at my grandfather's house, apparently, was a key step to saving the world, and the bit about the water-spirit trapped in a sculpture gallery and how he was upset his supposedly immortal boyfriend was dying of cancer again.)

My WALL-E's back in town ♥

Someone else called me about jobs today (wow, that monster thing. who knew), but in English and I was much calmer. In the end i wasn't interested in any of the jobs they were offering (sales, no thanks). they'd have been a good way to strip me of my sanity and confidence.

Tego: :P to you, gchat. or maybe V.v.V
Tego: i'm being crabby

meta question for the writers:
does the fact that your characters/people are japanese affect the way you write them? do you feel bad about putting in puns because they wouldn't be the same in japanese? (or not putting in puns because they don't make sense in English?) do you put in typical japanese phrases - either in japanese or translated into english? How about Japanese use in fic in general?

If you're interested, here are my trip posts: california, which is mostly a confusing jumble of life, food, and relatives; and alaska, which is mostly a confusing jumble of ports and exhaustion. What i should do is put the pictures up and give you those instead.

pimpin', nerdly ftw!, america, quotes without context, dream, posts of oblique references, teh internets = my sanity, unproductive is my tokugi
