lightning is one thing
I was really hoping i would feel better after this presentation, but i don't. It's a good thing Jermay had his presentation after, because if i went last, i probably wouldn't have taken myself to the bathroom to have a good cry. I'd thought about it before hand too, but didn't have the time then either. It's not even that the presentation was horribly awful (even though i rushed a lot); it's just. too much stress.
I had to buy myself some decaf tea before hand because i needed something hot to drink (soothing), and caffiene at that point would have been a bad idea (my heart was beating fast enough thank you). People kept telling me to take a shot of something XD (but i figured i would fall asleep if i did).
I keep waiting for this thing to gel for me, to start making sense and sounding like a good idea, and. I think i'm getting to the point of realizing that it's not going to.
anyway, /emo. I've got a meeting about it on Wednesday (9 am. w00t! :|), so hopefully, then? at any rate, i will probably be fine. i am just venting.

When we went to close everything down at the end of class in LangID today, we found Debby's blackboard still up from the 10:15 class. XDDDDDDDDDD oh, Debby.

Last night at dinner, i got to peel crawdads. ♥
It's really lame, but i like doing that a lot. shrimp too. I don't even like to eat shrimp, but peeling them is fun. if i'm going to get my hands dirty.
The veggies were quite good. green beans, boiled for a little bit. Meanwhile, chop half an onion and a fresh tomato. Fry these together (make sure that you're not putting too much of the 'water' parts of the tomato in the pan. you just want the 'meat'). When they're cooked most of the way, put them in the pot with the beans and let them finish together.

we opened the pomulo last night. it's good. I'm glad it didn't go bad, but they really do last forever as long as they're not open.

i hate discussions about religion. I'm too used to being attacked before i say anything. it's nice to know they don't always go that way, but. just in general. please, let me tell you what i believe before you attack me for it. please don't yell at me about things you think i believe, especially, when i don't.
i know my religion isn't all that popular right now, but. i've seen a lot of so-called 'reasonable' people act very unreasonably when this topic comes up. Please condemn me for my sins and not those of others.
I got my thesis back today with comments. I haven't had a chance to go through them yet, but. He was like 'you pass either way, but if you want to go through and make edits by Thursday :D' and i am like '-_- muri jan.' but only in my head ^^;; Seriously, though, edits by thursday. are you fucking kidding me? The worst part is that i know i'm going to try. *sigh*
On the other hand, he's like 'definitely submit to NWAV' and also 'pare it down so it fits the requirements and submit to eVox too! :D' so.
apparently i remember japan for the trains and the moqsuitos. i was pleased at how quickly my japanese was coming back, but i was dreaming, so i'm not sure it can count.
Someone (not me) needs to write a paper on intertextuality in JE fandom. Dude. the data is everywhere. We do this all the time. On top of that, it would be damn interesting.
Why do people always talk to me at bus stops? why~ Tego says it is because i look nice. naraba, i would take looking scary.
Actually, the person (white female, mid 50's by a guess)who talked to me today ended up being in my same metro car (the boy scouts visiting the capitol called her and her friend both 'miss' and tried to give them their seats XD), and said hi again. :|
Debby apparently had not one, but two seders are her house over the weekend. Dude. If I were her, I would not have shown up for class today, i do not even care. that's insane.
speaking of debby, after all my stress and preparation, we ran out of time and i didn't get to present today. :\ dude. I COULD HAVE DONE IT IN 8 MINUTES OK YOU COULD HAVE LET ME TRY. *sigh*
also, on the topic of things that i slaved to get ready for monday that didn't need to be, sunday night (kinda late-ish) we got an email from rob going 'so i was thinking, you've got some questions on this project 3... new due date: Wednesday :D!'

Today for lunch, Pat joined me, Jinsok, and Hirono. We went to Tombs because today was also very with the raining. Their grilled cheese isn't bad at all, actually.
Pat does very convincing dead fish and attacking grasshopper impressions. Jinsok makes sloppy analogies. And we're all very critical.
