I just realized it's raining. That that's the sound I can hear on the roof, and that's the reason for the little cool draft coming in from the windows. I really love rain in West Virginia. It's beautiful like nothing else

so. how did your first 1 hour fic challenge go?

it was... okay. definitely not my style of writing at all as what I usually churn out in the beginning is just crap. I feel very icky letting people read my unfinished drivel. But I'm choosing to view this as a learning experience.

On a completely different note, I am so frustrated right now that I'm crying (but that could just be the lack of sleep). The volume on my laptop is suddenly all wonky. There's volume but just not for any videos I try to play. Which means I can't watch the five+ hours of vids I need to watch by this afternoon for the recording. Yeah. Very frustrated right now.

I quite liked it, to be honest. I didn't leave a very good comment, because it was kind of crazy at my house while i tried to read, but.

I read it over after my brief nap (something I hadn't done when writing it) and it's not... what I wanted it to be. So I guess my dissatisfaction stems from that. Once I have a change to rewrite and finish, I'm sure I'll be much happier. Also, how do people write so fast? O.o I seriously don't understand it and am intensely jealous.

Still struggling. I can't figure it out. I've done everything I can think of so now I'm just virus and spyware scanning as a last resort. Completely and utterly flummoxed.

Well, I can understand disliking it if it's just that you dislike it. If it weren't the point to just post whatever crap you managed to squeeze out at the end of an hour, I'd probably find it embarrassing. But since it's the point, I deal ^_^;
I have no idea how they do it! Jemz calls start, and then suddenly it's like everyone else has 1000+ words, and I'm like, trying to clear 350. But yours was quite long, so I'm not really sure what you have to be jealous about.

;kjaf;jklaf;kjl I'm sorry, i have no idea how this stuff works really. I sometimes have panic dreams about my baby computer not working, or getting a virus.

It's almost morning now, so I think i'd better shower and get myself to bed, but I hope your computer magically starts working again, the way it magically stopped. Do you know anyone who would want to curse you? I have mental images of someone with candles on their head sticking pins into a computer-shaped rag doll.

It's funny because this was the fastest I think I've ever written (mainly because I am so easily distracted) and I was all proud of myself for being at 630 words and so I took a peek at the chat and everyone began posting word counts much higher than me. Yeah, very silly to be affected by that but I was.
