Nikki is either Chinese or Hispanic

according to the guy i helped get unlost in the metro. I know. I helped someone get unlost. He was from Honduras (if i remember right now), and after i told him which platform he wanted to be on, said 'Thank you' and then 'Gracias' so I said 'de nada' because, i know 'de nada' at least, and then. And then he started talking to me really fast in Spanish, and i had to be like '...I'm sorry. I don't know any spanish.' And then he was like, 'oh, so you're Chinese.'
XD

jinsook: I hate sudoku. I don't like complicated puzzles.
Nikki: What about linguistics?
jinsook: Linguistics is less complicated than sudoku.

Worst time talking myself out of bed this morning. After snoozing for probably an hour, i finally sent Tego a text message asking what time they thought they'd be coming. And she's like. "Dummy. We're on our way already." And I'm like "Crap!" and also "*flail* need clothes! must brush teeth! jlk;afjl breakfast!"

sillyandmorbid: Ann tried to corner me and make me sing with them, but I evaded her.

They (Emma, rocksizedheart and Tego) arrived before I was ready (though I did have clothes, at least), so I made them come up so that i could eat breakfast. And gave them tea!

DSW, and i'm very thankful that my shoe-size is hard to find, because otherwise i'd probably be out a lot more money. Tego got her long-searched-for brown suede boots. rocksizedheart got a gorgeous pair of brown kind of 'work' shoes. And Emma got a pair of trainers, and then a pair of gold shoes which are really cute. Lunch at La Madelline (or however you spell that) because it was close and rocksizedheart is allergic to nuts and stuff. It wasn't bad. My Chicken Parisian was very good, and I left feeling full and happy.

we've decided that for my wedding, mom, as the mother of the bride, should wear a white suit with green pin stripes. We haven't told her yet.
Also, for sillyandmorbid's wedding, we can't use (live) snakes for the center pieces or mom won't come. which is no good.

Then to Loehmann's. Which. Well. I had a mistress of the wardrobe. And the changing room, which is run by some very. um. Chinese. Chinese ladies. the changing room is just a big open room, which kind of bothered Emma, who used a clothes rack to hide behind to change. Idk how well it worked, considering all the walls were mirrors, but if it makes her feel better.
I got two dresses--one little black dress, in anticipation of someday (maybe), when i'm a real person, having an occassion to which to wear a little (classy) black dress. The other is pale green, and goes to the floor. The middle section of the front of the skirt is a pannel of lighter green, and it's very pretty.

I love watching the train come into the station. That moment when you can see that first glint of light from the headlights, and watching the lights get brighter and brighter. something about it, it fills me with glee every single time. I am a six year old.

We had some issues getting the green one on, though, because the one i grabbed was mis-marked for the size, and was actually a size smaller. And zipped over everything except that wide part of your ribcage. And then the 'size up' was huge, because, well, it was really 2 sizes up. But then someone not me had the brilliant idea of looking to see if there were any other 10's, and there were. It's a touch big, but. Definitely good. And also closes. So that's for the cousin's wedding in march, i think.

There was a dress that i tried on because it was so ugly (it looked like skittle puke: neon green, and hot blue, with neon yellow on the inside), but actually the cut looked really good on me. very hour glass.

Then rocksizedheart drove us back and dropped me and tego off. We lazed about for a while, and then watched the first ep of MVP, graciously uploaded by kitsune714 and j;lfaj;lfaj;lfa omg, the trash! it's wonderful. And they're canadian! and mostly gorgeous. And there was this one bit, where the rookie's mom is talking, and tego and i kind of look at each other with wide, gleeful eyes, because. CANADIAN RAISING. OMG. ;___; we are such nerds.
I think i need to see the rest. I think i need to very badly.

we have a really big family.

Then, we rushed out to catch the 25 to ballston (tego's never ridden it that direction) and then on up to Clarendon to meet Dijana for dinner. We went to Sette Bello, this Italian place I pass every day and always wanted to go to and it was so good. The capreses della costiera were so, so so so good. The bread was also good, but i wish they'd given us more olive oil. By the time the pizza came, i wasn't that hungry anymore XD. it was ok. Tego and I split, and it looked good, but turned out not to be my favourite. Dijana's was good too, except that the olives on it were like, preserved in salt, so. It surprised me. Overall, the place was good, but yappari totally expensive, in my mind. Even if it is about the norm for the area.

Then, we all went our separate ways home (i got back at 10:30. it was a lot colder then than when i got dressed for a day in the mid to high 40's going places in a car), and theoretically went to bed. Only instead i spent a long time talking to sillyandmorbid and now it's 1:30 am.

I have plans to go to sleep, not set an alarm, wake up whenever, do homework and not go to church.
