Wednesday is the new Monday
in an attempt to start that losing battle with bone-loss, i've started drinking milk :\
Realized that phonology is fun like socio, but without the 'terror' aspect, so I enjoy it more.
Field methods first assignment in. No one managed to really stay within the two-page 'limit' there was a whole of font-changing, margin-playing, and new and interesting takes on the real meaning of 'double-spaced.'

Totally fell asleep in phonology. datte! i was up late (ok, so that was my own fault) and didn't get a chance to get coffee (i blame the registrar for this one) beforehand. And we were just going over consonants the whole time. :|
I just feel bad because I didn't mean to and it was probably not very subtle.

though it's a sorry state of affairs when 38 feels warm. :(
The lx department is kind of incestuous in that i have classes with a lot of the same people. They're awesome people, though, so no complaints.
first recitation, which wasn't so bad and she did, in fact, let us out early.
We also got a new TA in addition to our old one, because the class is too big to expect one grad student to handle and still take classes of her own.
Lissa: I think some people's moons are longer than other's
Fried rice, or do something with the daikon? Fried rice or do something with the daikon? Maa, daikon shiyou? i don't want it sitting around too long.
Maybe I'll make gyoza too just because.
eta: I'll need to work on my daikon skills. It didn't turn out badly, but I wouldn't try to get anyone to like it from what i produced. :\ maa, maybe next time.
