Today we shanked a mannequin and some lady walking past laughed at us. It was a little embarrassing when sillyandmorbid yanked and suddenly the mannequin was naked. Its butt hit her in the head when we slid the skirt out from underneath the metal stand. But we put a different (sized) skirt back on, so we didn't just leave it like that, and no one told us to leave the store, so.

Thanksgiving was very low key. We always have more of a Thanksgiving lunch than a dinner. Maybe it's linner? Anyway, right around 3 o'clock, Dad decided the turkey was done and that it was therefore time to eat. Up till then, Mom and the sisters and I were playing marjong (badly, in my case. Despite my winning the first hand really big. It was, unfortunately, mostly luck. Luck which deserted me). Ever since Annie learned how to play, she really seems to like it. But probably she just likes it as an alternative to board games that everyone actually will play.
I have a hard time writing/reading boyporn sitting on the couch next to my mother. Life is so hard sometimes.
Like the brilliant, intelligent person I am, I left my medicine in DC. ^^; So we had to get a few pills from the local drug store--not covered by insurance, of course. It wasn't so bad, given the small amount, but still. Not one of my brightest moments (which assumes that I have bright moments).
I suppose I should stop procrastinating.
My brother was over visiting for a while before dinner too. I hadn't seen him in a while, so it was nice to be reminded of what his face looks like. He didn't stay for dinner, but they're all coming over for Christmas, so that'll be fun. I wonder if it will be weird without Wendy again this year or not.

After 'dinner' (which was very good. I don't like turkey much, but I do like turkey gravy, so that was pretty exciting) we played a couple more hands of marjong--it's still set up for us to play a few rounds a day--then caught Annie up on Yuukan Club, before watching the third episode. Oyaji Love is my new favourite song. Then mom, sillyandmorbid and I spent some quality time on the couch each with our respective laptops (My personal favourite is when we IM. because it's funny when they're sitting on you and IMing you at the same time) and annie killed aliens with Halo3.
Turkey sheppard's pie for dinner + green bean casserole + leftover sweet potato thing. For appetizers, mom randomly made samosa and nan and edamame. o_O in terms of combination, but all tasty.
